COPENHAGEN, DENMARK, September 1, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- AdCar, a Copenhagen-based advertising project, launched on Aug. 28, 2026. The service lists a limited set of printed advertising panels on a privately owned coupe driven in the city. Within 48 hours of launch, AdCar reported more than $2,000 in completed purchases. The first transaction was recorded within minutes.

AdCar published 62 panels on its website at launch. Prices listed on the site start at $50 for the smallest panels. Each purchase is a one-time payment. According to the company, panels remain on the vehicle for 12 months. Once a panel is purchased, AdCar does not relist that panel.

Buyers select a panel on the AdCar website, upload artwork, and complete payment online. The company states that purchasers receive photographs of the installed panel, a listing with a tracked link on adcar.tv, and an invoice. The operator also plans a mention of each purchaser on its social channels.

Early purchases were announced by the buyers in public posts on X. Lukas Herman of StageTimer (a remote-controlled event countdown timer) was among the first, writing about the purchase shortly after launch. Dmytro Krasun of ScreenshotOne (a website screenshot API for developers) posted that the company acquired a driver-front-wing panel for $250. Martin Donadieu posted that he bought a $50 panel for Capgo (live updates for Capacitor mobile apps).

The car is based in Copenhagen and is driven in the city as part of ordinary use. AdCar is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by the vehicle manufacturer.

"The first sales arrived within minutes of launch," said Dan M., who built AdCar. "Each panel stays on the car for a year. Purchasers also receive photographs of the installed panel and a mention on the project's social channels."

Dan M. operates the X account @d4m1n, which has 32,000+ followers, and co-hosts the YouTube program Morning Maker Show, which has 11,000+ subscribers.

Further details and the current panel list are published at https://adcar.tv.
