Chinese Ambassador to the Netherlands Shen Bo Meets with Naspers Chairman Koos Bekker
On August 24, H.E. Shen Bo, Chinese Ambassador to the Netherlands, met with Mr. Koos Bekker, Chairman of Naspers, and Mr. Fabricio Bloisi, CEO of Prosus.
Ambassador Shen briefed them on the positive developments in China’s economy and noted that China remains committed to high-standard opening-up. He welcomed companies from all countries, including Naspers, to invest and do business in China and share in the opportunities brought by China’s development. Mr. Bekker and Mr. Bloisi expressed confidence in China’s economic prospects and looked forward to further strengthening cooperation with China and continuing to deepen their presence in the Chinese market.
The two sides also exchanged views on the current international situation and other issues of mutual interest.Mr. Jin Yuan, Counsellor in charge of economic and commercial affairs of the Embassy, attended the meeting.
