New showroom brings Mobility City repair, rental and sales services closer to Greater Boston communities as national franchise network continues to grow

BOCA RATON, FL, UNITED STATES, September 2, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Mobility City Holdings, Inc., the national mobility equipment repair, rental and sales franchise network, announced the opening of Mobility City of Acton, Massachusetts, expanding the company's ability to serve seniors, veterans, caregivers and people with disabilities throughout the Greater Boston region.
Located at 155 Great Road, Suite B, Acton, MA 01720, the new showroom provides repair, rental and sales of wheelchairs, power chairs, mobility scooters, recliner lift chairs, hospital beds, rollators and other mobility and home medical equipment. The location also provides field service for customers who need mobility equipment assistance at home.

The Acton opening is another step in Mobility City Holdings' long-term strategy to build a national network of locally owned mobility equipment showrooms backed by trained technicians and centralized corporate support.

Mobility City currently serves customers through more than 67 locations nationwide and has established a long-term vision of expanding its footprint to approximately 300 territories across the United States.

“Our goal is simple: wherever people depend on mobility equipment, we want a Mobility City close enough to help,” said Diane Baratta, CEO of Mobility City Holdings. “Every new showroom closes another gap in our national coverage while giving customers something very important. Now they will have a knowledgeable local owner and technician they can turn to when they need help with mobility equipment repair.”

Mobility City of Acton is owned by Clem and Gordon, who bring more than four decades of combined experience in the pharmaceutical industry. After deciding to build a business of their own, they wanted an opportunity that would allow them to use their experience while making a meaningful difference in people's lives.

Mobility City's mission of helping people restore mobility, independence and quality of life, provided exactly that opportunity.

“We wanted to build something meaningful in our community,” said Clem and Gordon. “Mobility City allows us to combine our professional experience with the opportunity to help people solve mobility problems that directly affect their independence and everyday life.”

Unlike businesses focused primarily on selling medical equipment, the Mobility City equipment showroom operates around three core services: Repair. Rent. Sales. Customers can bring equipment into the Acton showroom, arrange field service when appropriate, rent wheelchairs, power chairs and scooters for temporary needs, or compare and test mobility products before making a purchase. The company's continued expansion is designed to create a national service network while maintaining the personal service and accountability of locally owned businesses.

“Sixty-eight locations is an important milestone, but it isn't the finish line,” Baratta added. “There are still millions of Americans who don't have a Mobility City nearby. We intend to keep growing closer to them.”
